(KNOE 8 News) - KNOE 8 News has learned that Louisiana State Police removed a small caliber semi-automatic pistol from the scene of a deputy involved shooting in Ruston. About 11:15 p.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to the 5300 block of Yacht Club Road. The Ruston man wanted in connection with the shooting death of a woman on Greene Lane has been arrested and charged with second- degree murder. A Lafayette police officer has been arrested and placed on leave after a complaint that he showed two teenagers a pornographic video.
